GCDC invests in real estate projects through the acquisition of lands for both residential and commercial development. The focus of the company is the Sea to Sky corridor including Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton. The evaluation of projects begins with GCDC and once approved and financed, the project management is undertaken by Glacier Creek Construction Ltd. GCDC’s objective is to continue to be a recognized leader in real estate development within British Columbia. Current project(s) Pioneer Junction and 'The Frontier' is a combined commercial/residential project underway in Pemberton, B.C. GCDC contracted its sister company – Glacier Creek Construction Ltd. to build the first component of the project – a gas station/convenience store and restaurant which officially opened on March 22nd 2003. The current component is 80 residential units composed of 17 clusters of duplexes and townhouses. The first tenants are scheduled to move in this Summer.
